High School Leland HS California redshirt junior Elena Flynn (San Jose, CA) helped the Bears to a pair of wins over No. 2 Hawaii 9-8 and a rout of No. 21 Pacific 19-4 (Mar. 8-10). She set the tone against UH with two first quarter goals and finished with a game-high four. Her final goal with 6:38 to go in the fourth proved to be the winner. Flynn added an assist and a steal while becoming the first Bear this year to have three four-goal performances. Against Pacific, Flynn directed the offense with four assists to go with one steal. This is the first career MPSF award for Flynn.
