Pepperdine freshman setter Ryan Graves (Irvine, CA) helped the Waves to a pair of MPSF home wins over No. 11 USC and No. RV Concordia (Mar. 14-16). He dished a career-high-tying 47 assists, while pushing the team to a .358 hitting percentage in four sets vs. USC. Graves continued the energy en route to his second-career double-double, which included 37 assists and guiding a .513 clip vs. Concordia, the squad’s second-best of the season. Collectively over the two matches, Graves set Pepperdine to .423 hitting with an average of 12 assists per set. This is the first career MPSF award for Graves.
