BYU senior middle blocker Gavin Julien (Whitefish Bay, WI) had a career-high 11 blocks in the second win at No. 8 Pepperdine, including a season-high two solos (Mar. 23). In the first win, he contributed four blocks, including one solo. Julien averaged 1.50 blocks per set and finished with 15 total blocks through two five-set MPSF road victories. Through the weekend, Julien is tied for 11th- place all-time in BYU Men’s Volleyball history with 22 career solo blocks. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Julien.
