UCLA freshman Lauren Steele (Old Greenwich, CT) recorded 10 saves, two goals (on two shots), and two steals in a 15-8 MPSF home win over No. 3 Stanford (Mar. 30). She scored twice in the final 39 seconds of the first half to give the Bruins the lead for good. The outcome was UCLA’s second largest margin of victory over Stanford all-time, and kept the Bruins unbeaten on the year with a crucial conference win. This is the fourth MPSF weekly award for Steele.
