USC sophomore Robert López Duart (Barcelona, Spain) was the Trojans’ top scorer at the Triton Invitational, where his nine goals led a 4-0 record at the event. He recorded two goals in a 14-10 season-opening win over No. 10 Long Beach State, while adding two steals and three drawn exclusions. López Duart would set his USC-high with a four-goal outburst along with two assists against No. 8 UC Davis, an 18-12 win. This is the first career MPSF award for Lopez Duart.
