Indiana junior Louisa Downes (Queensland, Australia) led the Hoosiers to a 4-0 week, including a pair of upsets over No. 12 Princeton and No. 8 Harvard at the Aztec Invitational (Mar. 14-16). Downes accumulated 12 goals, six assists, five steals, four earned exclusions, and two drawn penalties through the invitational. In a 17-16 sudden-victory overtime win over Harvard, she had four goals and three assists, along with a steal, two earned exclusions, and an earned penalty. She also had two goals and two assists along with three steals in the 14-13 win over Princeton, to go with hat tricks against CS Fullerton and the host No. 20 SDSU. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Downes.
