Grand Canyon graduate opposite Jarrett Anderson (Largo, FL) had an impressive weekend in a two-match MPSF series home split against No. 6 BYU (Mar. 21-22), as he accumulated 18 kills with a .366 hitting percentage, while he totaled eight service aces. Four of those aces occurred consecutively in a 17-3 run to ignite a third set comeback in GCU’s 3-0 upset victory in the second match. Defensively, Anderson picked up 13 digs (1.86 per set) and five total blocks through the series. He finished with 4.07 points per set for the weekend. This is the second and third career MPSF weekly awards for Anderson, each coming this year.
