UCLA sophomore Ryder Dodd (Long Beach, CA) led a 4-0 Bruin record and a three-peat title at the Overnght MPSF Invitational (Sept. 19-21), scoring 13 goals, while tallying five assists, five steals, drawing four exclusions, winning three sprints, and making two saves. In the 19-12 quarterfinal win over No. 11 UC Davis, he scored four goals and added three assists. In the 13-12 come-from-behind semifinal win over No. 4 Stanford, he scored twice and tallied one assist, had three steals, drew two exclusions, and won a sprint. He then scored a season-high-tying five goals, drew one exclusion and won his only sprint in the 11-9 win over No. 3 California in the title game. This is the sixth career MPSF weekly award for Dodd.
