Washington State sophomore Rosemary Longisa (Eldoret, Kenya) set multiple records during the UW Invitational/Mile City meet in Seattle, WA (Jan. 31). In the mile, Longisa crossed in 4:24.59, the fourth-fastest time ever run by a collegian and No. 2 in the nation this year. It also shattered her own previous school record by nearly 16 seconds, and broke the event record by three seconds. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Longisa.
