Wyoming senior Alex Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) tallied three first-place swims at the DU First Chance meet (Feb. 6-7). Metzler went three-for-three in breaking El Pomar Natatorium pool records in the 200 Free, 200 fly and 200 IM. His altitude time of 1:34.62 in the 200 free is ranked second in the MPSF, while his 1:45.77 in the 200 fly is ranked fifth and 1:46.10 in the 200 IM is fourth. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Metzler.
