Southern Utah sophomore Mia Hampton (Meridian, ID) turned in a huge performance in the Thunderbirds’ road win at No. 26 Oregon State (Feb. 14). Hampton scored a 9.85 on bars, before matching a career-best 9.90 on balance beam to tie for second. She followed up with another 9.900 on floor, tying for third, as SUU posted an MPSF season-high 49.450 on the event and No. 6 all-time MPSF total of 196.825. Earlier in the week, Hampton scored a third-place-tying 9.85 on floor at No. 29 Utah State (Feb. 9). This is the 10th career MPSF weekly award for Hampton.
