AIR FORCE (1-8) wrapped up a weekend of competition with a fourth-place finish at the Paige Smith Invitational in Denver, Colorado. The Falcons tallied a score of 186.275. Sixth-ranked Oklahoma scored 195.925 to narrowly defeat No. 13 Denver (195.700). Utah State rounded out the field with a third-place score of 192.275. Freshman Brittany Dutton was the Falcons' top performer, earning the team's best finish on the vault, balance beam, floor exercise and all-around. In her season debut on the vault, Dutton scored a 9.600 to finish 18th. In addition, she earned a combined score of 37.500 in the all-around to finish ninth. The Falcons' other all-around competitor, junior Abigail Rogers, scored a 37.400 in the all-around to place 10th.

ALASKA ANCHORAGE (3-5) did not compete last week.

SEATTLE PACIFIC (1-5) fell 191.975-185.200 to Sacramento State. Junior Marina Borisova of Sacramento State won vault, floor exercise, and the all-around competition. With the loss, SPU falls to 1-5 and the CSUS Hornets even out at 3-3. Hornet Marina Borisova scored 9.875 on both vault and floor, and barely skimmed above her two teammates in the all-around (38.150). CSUS' Eryn Stubblefield claimed second (38.100) and Melissa Genovese took third (38.000). Falcon freshman Brianna Steigauf was the only SPU gymnast to finish on the podium, scoring 9.725 on the floor exercise, tying for third with Hornet Eryn Stubblefield. Overall, the Falcons' floor rotation was the highest of the season (46.425), although beam proved to be the strongest for the evening (46.700).

UC DAVIS (6-3) scored a 190.025 in a loss to Cal State Fullerton (192.275). Senior Michelle Kulovitz and freshman Stacey Nicolini each scored career-high marks in event wins on floor exercise and balance beam, respectively. Kulovitz scored a winning 9.825 to capture the win on floor exercise, well ahead of teammate Adee Schoffman's second-place score of 9.725. Nicolini won the balance beam with a career-best 9.750 while contributing a 9.775 on vault. Collectively, UC Davis scored a 48.675 on vault in the opening rotation to take the early lead. Freshman Maddie Steinauer scored a 9.850 to capture the vault title for Fullerton, just ahead of UC Davis sophomore Michelle Bobonski's lifetime best of 9.800. Junior Adee Schoffman turned in a strong 9.725 on floor from the leadoff position, then sophomore Lida Gehlen made her season debut in the event with a 9.600. Senior Andi Dolinsky also chipped in a 9.600 on floor, helping UC Davis offset two misses. The Aggies posted a 47.600 on floor after a 47.225 on balance beam.

MICHELLE KULOVITZ NAMED MPSF GYMNAST OF THE WEEK Woodland, Calif. - Michelle Kulovitz of UC Davis has been named MPSF gymnast of the week. The senior from Anaheim Hills, Calif., tied a career-high 9.825 to capture the floor exercise title in Friday's dual meet with Cal State Fullerton... Also scored a 9.750 on vault to help her team total a 48.675 in the event, and tied for third on bars with a 9.575 score... The meet, held concurrently with UC Davis wrestling's dual with the Titans, drew a season-best 1,318 spectators.
