MPSF Women's Gymnastics Championship Results-Individual Get Acrobat Reader

ALASKA-ANCHORAGE claimed its first-ever MPSF Championship this past Friday in Colorado Springs, CO. The Seawolves posted a team score of 192.825, the third-highest mark in program history. Individual titles belonged to sophomore Kristy Boswell on the uneven bars, tying her career-high (9.8) and junior Lauren Agostino on vault (9.8). Sophomore Leah Wilson was the All-Around runner-up (38.775), finished third on the balance beam (9.775) and fourth on floor (9.75). Sophomore Shakea Sanders placed fourth on vault on floor with a pair of 9.75's. Freshman Kaelei Spoor was fourth on beam (9.75).

SEATTLE PACIFIC placed second at the MPSF Championship meet with a season-high team score of 191.700. The Falcons were led by senior Brianna Schwartz, who claimed second on the uneven bars (9.725) and third All-Around (38.575). Freshman Sherah Veron had the highest SPU score on any event with a second-place floor routine (9.8). Freshman Kaysha Heck came in fourth on bars (9.675) and sophomore Laura Willis cracked the Top-five All Around (38.1).

UC DAVIS finished third at the MPSF Meet with a team score of 191.425. Sophomore Stacey Nicolini tied for the vault title (9.8), while junior Tanya Ho placed fifth on that event (9.725). Ho was also sixth All-Around (37.95). Freshman Erika Van Dyke was fourth on the balance beam (9.75) and junior Kendall McCann was sixth (9.725). Junior Michelle Bobonski placed sixth on vault (9.7). The Aggies had success on floor, led by senior MPSF Gymnast of the Year Andi Dolinsky taking third (9.775) and McCann fourth (9.75). 2009 goes down as a memorable year for UC Davis, as the team reached season-high meet scores nearly every week.

AIR FORCE hosted the 2009 MPSF Championship Meet, and posted season-high team totals All-Around (191.050) and on the balance beam (48.05). Senior MPSF Gymnast of the Year Abbey Rogers claimed three conference titles, out of a possible five. She tallied a career-high on beam (9.85), while also winning the floor (9.825) and All-Around (38.9). Junior Kayla Kincade was second on beam with a personal-best (9.825). Junior Aftan Boudreaux tied for second on bars (9.725) and freshman Katie Shetley had a third-place outcome on vault with a career-mark (9.775). Freshman Jenna Dudley finished fourth All-Around (38.45).
