Moss and Smith Named MPSF Mikasa Players of the Week

Woodland, Calif. -San Jose State senior 2-Meter Juliet Moss (San Jose, CA/Mt. Pleasant HS) poured in 17 goals in four games (4.25 GPG), as the Spartans ran their win streak to seven. In a 19-14 MPSF win at No. 8 Arizona State, Moss tied her own single-game school record with seven goals. She also added four in the win over No. 9 UCI. With these efforts, Moss became the first player in San Jose State history to score 50 or more goals in three different seasons.

Woodland, Calif. -Arizona State sophomore attacker Lynlee Smith (Auckland, NZ/Westlake Girls HS) delivered a 22-goal week (5.50 GPG) as the Sun Devils went 3-1 in their own tournament. She scored a career-high four goals in an MPSF loss to San Jose State, five vs. No. 20 Santa Clara, six in a win over No. 9 UCI, and a school-record seven vs. Cal Lutheran.
