In the last regular season meeting on Jan. 26, 2008, No. 5 Oklahoma topped No. 2 Michigan (351.400-347.000) in Norman, on the way to an eighth national title.
#4 STANFORD (4-0) picked up a 342.70-340.85 win over No. 18 California Saturday in Livermore, CA, for the fourth win over the Bears this year. Eddie Penev led the way with a meet-high on vault (15.65) and floor (15.45). Eric Hergenrader took the pommel horse title (14.0), while James Fosco won the rings (15.0). Senior Kyle Shanahan took second all-around (82.35). Nebraska turned in a season-high on the rings (57.80), led by a pair of career-highs for Andreas Hofer (14.55) and Shanahan (15.00). The Huskers are home Sunday (Feb. 21) against Ohio State, Illinois-Chicago, and MPSF opponent Air Force.
