#4 STANFORD (1-0 MPSF, 4-0 Overall) is 4-0 at home to begin 2011, including the latest 18-17 thrilling outcome over Harvard this past Sunday. The Cardinal came back from a 9-5 first half deficit. Sophomore Jackie Candelaria came off the bench to put away four goals and one assist, including the game-winner at the 3:47 mark. Karen Nesbitt and Leslie Foard also delivered four goals apiece. The Cardinal hit the road for the first time, traveling to Columbus, OH this week, facing Ohio State Saturday (Mar. 5) and Canisius in a neutral site game Sunday (Mar. 6).

CALIFORNIA (2-0 MPSF, 3-2 Overall) junior Tara Arolla posted career and game-highs of five goals and seven points in a 14-10 win at Davidson Sunday. Cal never trailed in the road game, recovering with an early 3-0 lead from last Friday's 8-6 defeat at Longwood. Vail Horn added four goals and Megan Takacs a hat trick, while goalkeeper Allie Shropshire collected nine saves in the victory. The Bears are off this week.

UC DAVIS (1-1 MPSF, 2-1 Overall) won a non-conference home game against St. Mary's last Friday, 21-12, as senior Christina Corsa was the story. She put away a game-high four goals and tied a school record with six assists. Every helper came within a 15-goal second half, after trailing 7-6 at half. Elizabeth Datino added four goals and Gina Hoffmire posted three goals and three assists. Hannah Mirza and Meghan Jordan also scored hat tricks, while combining for 12 draw controls. The Aggies travel to Central Connecticut State, Temple, and Detroit this week.

OREGON (1-0 MPSF, 2-1 Overall) won twice at home, 18-5 over Fresno State in the conference opener last Friday and 15-9 over Jacksonville Sunday. Junior Bina Barrett had a huge week. She recorded career-highs of four assists and seven points against the Bulldogs, before adding three goals and three assists vs. the Dolphins. Alex Breiner scored four goals vs. Jacksonville. The Ducks hit the road to Louisville and Cincinnati this weekend.

DENVER (0-0 MPSF, 0-4 Overall) junior Melissa Maier recorded a pair of goals in Sunday's loss at Stony Brook, 11-7. She also delivered a well-rounded game Friday at Hofstra, scoring twice along with two assists and two draw controls. Sophomore Kara Secora scored once and dished a pair of assists. The Pioneers' home opener is Friday (Mar. 4) against St. Mary's in an MPSF game. No. 3 North Carolina visits on Monday (Mar. 7).

ST. MARY'S (0-1 MPSF, 0-2 Overall) fell 21-12 in non-conference play at UC Davis on Friday. Mariah Walk scored three goals while Jillian Chong, Krista Morgan, and Juliet Munroe scored two apiece. Morgan and Chong also dished an assist, with the latter earning four draw controls. Kathleen Worsdale collected 10 saves in goal. The Gaels head to Denver to face the Pioneers Friday in MPSF action, and will stay a mile high against Vermont Sunday.

FRESNO STATE (0-3 MPSF, 0-4 Overall) fell 18-5 in MPSF play at Oregon last Friday and 19-6 to Jacksonville Saturday, also in Eugene, OR. Freshman Briana Hetherington tallied three goals and one assist vs. the Dolphins, in the Bulldogs' season-high six-goal game. Senior Heather Jack picked up four groundballs. Fresno State hosts Bryant Monday (Mar. 7) in its home opener.

CHRISTINA CORSA MPSF PLAYER OF THE WEEK
UC Davis senior attacker Christina Corsa (Danville, CA/Monte Vista HS) scored four goals and tied a school record with six assists in a 21-12 win over St. Mary's Saturday. All six assists came in a 15-goal second half, helping erase a 7-6 halftime deficit. Her 10 total points is the highest at UCD since Katie McMahon reached that standard twice during the 2006 season, while her four ground balls and two steals were team-highs...
