UC DAVIS Marcy Miller won beam (9.70) and was second on vault (9.575) en route to an all-around title (38.775), as the Aggies won a home dual over Seattle Pacific (193.175-188.875). Michelle Ho and Ida Schaffer shared a floor title (9.825), the highest scores of the meet, while Ho also claimed bars (9.775). Stacey Nicolini was the vault champion (9.60) and was second all-around (37.700). Katie Yamamura was runner-up on bars (9.75) and beam (9.675). In its final regular season contest, UC Davis competes at nearby Sacramento State Sunday (Mar. 13), for a tri-meet with the Hornets and Boise State.

AIR FORCE freshman Katie Hawthorne won her second straight uneven bars title (9.725), last Wednesday in a 190.200-189.675 home dual win over Eastern Michigan. Brittany Dutton tied her career-high on floor (9.825), while Lisa Wong broke her own mark (9.75) on beam as each won their respective events. Saturday, the Falcons boosted their score to 190.950, as Dutton won bars (9.675) to highlight a top-four sweep in that event. Wong again claimed the beam title (9.75). Samantha Jones won floor (9.625) and placed second on vault (9.725) Air Force visits Seattle, WA for a tri-meet with SPU and Washington Saturday.

SEATTLE PACIFIC received a second place finish from Samantha Taylor on a season-best bars performance (9.75) and a fourth place from Corrine Wise on beam (9.625) in last Friday's dual at UC Davis. Additionally, every SPU floor routine went for at least a 9.60. The Falcons visit nearby University of Washington for a tri-meet with the Huskies and MPSF Opponent Air Force.

ALASKA-ANCHORAGE was off last week and is back in action for its only two home meets, Friday (Mar. 11) and Sunday (Mar. 13), facing Centenary twice. Last time out, Kelsey Fullerton posted a career-best vault (9.80) last on Feb. 24 in Mount Pleasant, MI, also the 18th best vault in UAA history and tying the top team score in 2011. Kaelei Spoor recorded a pair of 9.625's on vault on floor. Feb. 27 at Michigan State, the Seawolves posted a season-high of 190.525. Emily Petersen hit a 9.775 on bars and Maria Puricelli a 9.70 to lead the fourth-best team score in UAA history on that event (48.400).

MICHELLE HO MPSF GYMNAST OF THE WEEK
UC Davis sophomore Michelle Ho (Los Altos Hills, CA) posted two wins in a home dual with Seattle Pacific. She hit a career-high 9.775 to capture uneven bars then followed up with a 9.825 to tie for the floor victory, helping UC Davis compile a 193.175 team score. Friday's floor routine bumps Ho's RQS to 9.825, solidifying her position toward an NCAA regional at-large berth. Nominated: Lisa Wong (AFA)
