2011 MPSF Player of the Year
ANNIKA DRIES - #20 - SOPHOMORE - TWO-METER - STANFORD
From her two-meter position, sophomore Annika Dries (Laguna Beach, CA/Laguna Beach HS) helped guide top-ranked Stanford to a perfect regular season at 23-0 and an MPSF regular season title. She owns 58 goals in 26 games heading to the NCAA Tournament, where the Cardinal is the top seed, while her 2.23 goals per game average ranks third in the conference. Dries was one of two three-time MPSF Player of the Week recipients in 2011, including back-to-back on March 21 and 28, following her first honor on February 7. A member of the US Senior National Team that won a pair of gold medals last summer, Dries also enjoyed an all-conference freshman year in 2010, earning a pair of newcomer of the week honors along the way.
2011 MPSF Newcomer of the Year
TIMI MOLNAR - #8 - FRESHMAN - UTILITY - SAN JOSE STATE

Second on the team in scoring, she scored in 29 of the team's 34 games. In nineteen games, Molnar scored two or more goals. The native of Budapest, Hungary was the Spartans' top scorer or shared team-high honors nine times. Molnar was the March 28 MPSF Newcomer of the Week, following a hat trick at Arizona State, including the fourth quarter game-winner. She earned the honor again on April 11, following a 10-goal and four-victory week.
