#2 STANFORD won the four-team Stanford Open this past Saturday, with a total of 437.550, outscoring Oklahoma, California, and Nebraska. The Cardinal won four team titles, while Brian Knott was the individual champion on parallel bars (14.750), as was Sean Senters on vault (15.350). Eddie Penev claimed his second straight all-around title (87.200), backed by runner-up displays on floor (15.600) and p-bars (14.700). David Frankl made his collegiate debut on pommel horse, earning a 14.800 - good for second-place overall and the highest Cardinal score. No. 2 Stanford heads to No. 3 Michigan Saturday (Jan. 26).

#3 OKLAHOMA won team titles on floor (75.850) and parallel bars (71.700) en route to a second-place overall finish (433.450) at Stanford. Josh Yee posted a career-high on bars (14.600), while every Sooner posted either a season or career-best on high bar, led by William Clement's 14.950. Presten Ellsworth recorded the highest OU score of the meet, a career-high 15.500 on floor. Oklahoma competes in Fort Worth, TX on Friday (Jan. 25) in the Metroplex Challenge.

#5 CALIFORNIA Kyle Zemeir and Kevin Wolting tied for second all-around (84.050), as the Bears placed third (425.900) of four at the Stanford Open. Zemeir was high bar champion (15.000), while Jeffrey Langenstein posted the floor title (15.650), as did Matthew Del Junco on horse (14.950), and Steven Lacombe on rings (15.500). The Bears are off this week.

#6 AIR FORCE Tory Brown matched the all-time Academy record score on vault (14.750) in claiming the event title, as the Falcons defeated Army, 414.200-408.100. Nick Gaudlip claimed floor (14.800) and Josh Ramos took p-bars (14.600), each performing career-marks. Air Force travels to Minnesota for a Saturday (Jan. 26) meet.

Stanford senior Eddie Penev (Rochester, NY) repeats the weekly honor by virtue of an all-around title (87.200), 14.700 high bar, and identical second-place routines on parallel bars (14.700) and floor (15.600) in the four-team Stanford Open.
