Ho Nails Another 9.90; Season-High For Seawolves

UC DAVIS Michelle Ho posted meet victories on floor (9.90) and uneven bars (9.825) as the Aggies totaled their sixth-highest score in team history, and third-best on the road (194.300), last Friday at Seattle Pacific. The only score in the MPSF this year which beats Ho's 9.90, is the 9.925 she herself performed on floor last month against California. Katie Yamamura captured titles on vault (9.80) and all-around (38.925), along with second-place bars (9.80) and beam (9.725) efforts. Madeline Kennedy had a career-floor and runner-up 9.80. UCD visits rival Sacramento State Friday (Feb. 22).

ALASKA-ANCHORAGE Marie-Sophie Boggasch equaled a meet-high 9.875 in sharing first-place on vault, as the Seawolves scored their third best total ever, 192.850 against Eastern Michigan this past Sunday. Boggasch tied the fifth best vault in program history. Emily Petersen won the uneven bars (9.775), and tied for second on beam with Morgan Cook (9.775), lifting UAA to its second best beam total for the program (48.525). UAA is off until the regular season finales, Mar. 7-9.

AIR FORCE placed second of three (191.775), less than a point behind New Hampshire and ahead of Lindenwood in a home tri-meet last Saturday. Katie Hawthorne took the all-around title with a career-high (38.725), behind runner-up finishes on uneven bars (career-best 9.775) and beam (9.625). Linnaea Hance won the beam (9.675) and tied Hawthorne on bars, and was third all-around (38.500). The Falcons travel to Denton, TX to face Texas Woman's and Illinois-Chicago Sunday.

SEATTLE PACIFIC Stephanie Wagner delivered the Falcons' best beam routine since 2011 with a career-high and first-place 9.85, as the Falcons accumulated 192.125 in their home finale against UC Davis. The team total marked the fifth straight meet of topping 191, the first such stretch since '05. Kenley Memmel's career floor mark (9.775) was good for third-place. Sydney Clark had a second-place all-around total (38.475). SPU heads to Oregon State to face the Beavers and Arizona on Friday.

UC Davis senior Katie Yamamura (Palo Alto, CA) captured wins on vault (9.800) and all-around (38.925) to boost a winning Aggie score of 194.300 in Friday's dual at Seattle Pacific.
