SAN DIEGO STATE (1-0 MPSF, 5-2 Overall) Michaela Jarvis set an Aztec record with 10 points in the 19-12 victory over Temple, with six goals and four assists. She added three goals and an assist in the win over Marquette. Goalkeeper Sammy Slattery also collected a program record 16 saves in the Temple game. SDSU takes a three-game win streak to Oregon Friday.

DENVER (1-0 MPSF, 7-1 Overall) posted its fifth straight win, sweeping the homestand last Wednesday against Boston U, 13-10. Kara Secora put away five goals and Jill Remenapp scored twice with five assists, as she leads the nation with 30 assists on the year, already tied for sixth in Pioneer single-season history. Denver travels to Vermont and Holy Cross this week.

CALIFORNIA (2-0 MPSF, 2-2 Overall) Brynn Gasparino scord four of her six goals in succession in the first half, before Megan Takacs added a natural hat trick in the 20-9 victory over Iona. The Bears visit Fresno State Tuesday (Mar. 19) in an MPSF game.

USC (2-1 MPSF, 5-5 Overall) In a battle of first-year programs, Paige Bonomi delivered six goals, while Caroline de Lyra totaled nine points on a hat trick and six assists in a 12-9 home win over Marquette. The Trojans visit Bryant and Brown this week.

UC DAVIS (0-3 MPSF, 2-5 Overall) picked up a 14-10 home win over Iona, as Hannah Mirza tallied five goals. Sara Quero had a career-high eight ground balls, seven in a 3-2 defensive battle during the first half. Ellie Delich had a team-high four goals in the Virginia Tech game. The Aggies next compete at Howard, Mar. 25.

OREGON (0-0 MPSF, 4-2 Overall) No. 2 Florida visited Eugene this past Saturday, coming away with a 13-5 win, thus snapping a four-game Duck win streak. Oregon's MPSF opener is Friday (Mar. 22) against San Diego State.

# 16 STANFORD (1-0 MPSF, 4-2 Overall) is off until Mar. 26 when visiting Vanderbilt. The Cardinal won their MPSF opener on Mar. 8, 17-12 over USC, followed by a 14-10 win over Temple on Mar. 10.

ST. MARY'S (1-3 MPSF, 2-3 Overall) Rachel Minarovich scored four goals on just four shots and assisted on another score as the Gaels beat visiting Marquette, 16-7 on March 10. SMC is off until March 22 & 24, when visiting St. Joseph's and Sacred Heart.

FRESNO STATE (0-1 MPSF, 1-3 Overall) goalkeeper Katie Wilbur totaled 17 saves against Denver on March 10, breaking the single-game program record. The Bulldogs host California Tuesday (Mar. 19), before visiting Albany Thursday (Mar. 21).

BRYNN GASPARINO MPSF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

California freshman attacker Brynn Gasparino (Darien, CT) rattled off four straight goals to give the Bears a 4-1 lead halfway through the first half in the win over Iona. She would later add two more scores in the second half to give her six for the game on eight shots. The six goals tied her for second on Cal's single-game record list.
