STANFORD (0-0 MPSF, 2-1 Overall) pulled off a 12-10 victory at No. 13 Ohio State Saturday. The Cardinal raced out to a 6-1 lead in the first 20 minutes and was never caught, as Rachel Ozer scored four goals in that stretch. Kyle Fraser added a hat trick in the win. Stanford plays three home games this week, taking on USC in the MPSF opener, followed by Georgetown and Temple.

DENVER (0-0 MPSF, 4-1 Overall) led wire-to-wire in the home opener vs. No. 20 Louisville last Saturday, winning 19-13. Kara Secora turned in a five-goal, two-assist game, Meredith Harris went for five goals, and Jenn Etzel added four goals and two assists. Kate Henrich had seven caused turnovers in becoming the all-time DU leader in that category with 114, while adding six ground balls.

ST. MARY'S (1-2 MPSF, 1-2 Overall) Amanda Cross put away four goals, followed by Jillian Chong and Rachel Minarovich with three apiece, as the Gaels earned an MPSF overtime win over UC Davis, 16-15. The victory marked the first for the Gaels over the Aggies since 2006. Chong scored the OT Game-winner, assisted by Cross, the last of her three helpers.

USC (1-0 MPSF, 3-3 Overall) Caroline de Lyra put away eight goals, tying for third-all time in single-game MPSF history, in the 18-13 loss at Princeton. The Trojans won at LIU-Brooklyn last Friday, 23-8, as de Lyra and Caroline Cordrey had four goals and three assists each. Paige Bonomi had five goals and two assists and Amanda Johansen also had a four-goal game.

OREGON (0-0 MPSF, 3-1 Overall) freshman Carly O'Connell scored a goal with 4.8 seconds left to break a 6-6 tie and send Oregon to a 7-6 home victory over High Point this past Saturday. The Ducks scored six of the seven goals in the second-half.

UC DAVIS (0-1 MPSF, 1-2 Overall) Elizabeth Datino accumulated five goals and two assists, while Elizabeth Landry scored a hat trick in the St. Mary's game. Datino now owns 82 career assists, and is the all-time Aggie assist leader.

CALIFORNIA (0-0 MPSF, 0-2 Overall) came up short at James Madison and Maryland-Baltimore County to begin the season, Feb. 21 & 23. Goalkeeper Megan McGinnis combined for 17 saves with a .486 percentage, allowing just three goals in the first-half each game. The Bears host St. Mary's Tuesday (Mar. 5) in their MPSF opener.

FRESNO STATE (0-0 MPSF, 1-0 Overall) won a neutral site game over Presbyterian to begin the season, 17-14, played at USC on Feb. 17. Marcy Levatino came off the bench with a school record seven goals (two shy of the MPSF record), along with two caused turnovers, five ground balls, and eight draw controls. The Bulldogs play Tuesday (Mar. 5) vs. La Salle in San Diego.

SAN DIEGO STATE (1-0 MPSF, 2-1 Overall) won its Feb. 22 MPSF opener at home over St. Mary's, 19-6. The Aztecs continue their five-game homestand on Friday (Mar. 8) against La Salle.

RACHEL OZER MPSF OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Stanford junior attacker Rachel Ozer (Moraga, CA/Campolindo HS) scored four goals in the first half, picked up two ground balls, and caused a turnover to lead a 12-10 road victory over No. 13 Ohio State. KATE HENRICH MPSF DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Denver senior defender Kate Henrich (Arnold, PA/Severn School) tied her career-high seven caused turnovers in a win over No. 20 Louisville, the second-highest single-game mark in Denver history. Henrich also broke the DU career record for caused turnovers and now has 114 in her career. She added six groundballs and two draw controls against the Cardinals. CARLY O'CONNELL MPSF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Oregon freshman midfield Carly O'Connell () scored the game-winning goal with 4.8 seconds remaining on Saturday against High Point to propel the Ducks to a 7-6 win.
