# 11 DENVER (7-0 MPSF, 15-1 Overall) extended its win streak to an MPSF record 13 games and clinched the top seed for the MPSF Tournament with 13-10 and 20-9 outcomes at Cal and St. Mary's, respectively. Jill Remenapp dished a conference record nine assists in Moraga, also just one shy of the all-time NCAA mark. The Pioneers host Oregon Friday (Apr. 26).
# 15 STANFORD (5-1 MPSF, 10-4 Overall) won two MPSF home games, 15-8 over Oregon and 23-16 over San Diego State. Wins at UC Davis Thursday and California (Saturday, Live on Pac-12 Networks) secures the two seed for the MPSF Tournament. Megan Lerner had a school record nine draw controls against SDSU, while Rachel Ozer had an 11-point week (8G, 3A).
USC (4-3 MPSF, 7-9 Overall) Amanda Johansen collected an MPSF record 13 draw controls, also just two shy of the NCAA record, in a home finale win over Fresno State, 19-1. Caroline de Lyra posted a game-high six points on two goals and four assists. The Trojans visit San Diego State Saturday (Apr. 27), where a win seals the fourth and final spot in the MPSF Tournament.
OREGON (3-4 MPSF, 8-8 Overall) Caroline Federighi collected 28 saves with a .571 percentage through two games last week, as the Ducks fell to Stanford and defeated UC Davis. The Ducks wrap up the season at Denver Friday.
UC DAVIS (2-5 MPSF, 5-9 Overall) picked up a 19-12 home win over San Diego State last Friday, as Hannah Mirza had five goals and Meghan Jordan recorded six assists. The Aggies went on a 10-2 second half run after a 10-9 deficit at the half.
CALIFORNIA (6-1 MPSF, 9-5 Overall) hosts rival Stanford Saturday (Apr. 27) on Pac-12 Networks to conclude the regular season. A win in that game results in the two seed, while a loss would mean the three. Paige Gasparino and Megan Takacs each scored hat tricks against Denver.
SAN DIEGO STATE (3-4 MPSF, 8-7 Overall) Bailey Ewing was seven-for-seven shooting in two games last week, including five-for-five at Stanford. The Aztecs host USC Saturday, and will earn their first MPSF Tournament appearance with a win.
ST. MARY'S (2-6 MPSF, 4-9 Overall) Jillian Chong delivered six goals, while Amanda Cross added four along with two assists, in the 15-11 home win over Fresno State. Rachel Minarovich collected seven draw controls. The Gaels' season is complete.
FRESNO STATE (0-8 MPSF, 2-13 Overall) wrapped up its season this past week at St. Mary's and USC. Kara Concheck recorded four goals in Moraga and Katie Wilbur picked up 14 saves.
