No. 2 Seed USC 11, No. 1 Seed Stanford 7
USC scored the first five goals of the championship game and was never caught in its second win of the year over top-ranked Stanford and third MPSF title. USC gets the NCAA Automatic bid out of the MPSF (May 10-12 at Harvard). Hannah Buckling scored a game-high four goals while Monica vavic added three. Flora Bolonyai collected nine saves. Melissa Seidemann scored a Stanford hat trick.
No. 4 Seed UCLA 10, No. 3 Seed Arizona State 7 (Third-Place)
The Bruins elevated their NCAA at-large chances by beating the Sun Devils for the second time in three tries this year to capture the MPSF Bronze. Rachel Fattal and Becca Dorst each scored twice to lead the Bruins. Sami Hill had 10 saves. Leading ASU with a hat trick apiece was Ao Gao and Alicia Brightwell, while E.B. Keeve collected 19 saves.
No. 5 Seed California 12, No. 6 Seed San Jose State 8 (Fifth-Place)
The tournament host Bears won its final game of the year with a four-goal outcome over San Jose State. Emily Csikos ends her Cal career with 215 goals after adding one today. Cal finishes 17-7 while SJSU goes 12-12.
