Air Force Hits Season-Highs vs. #10 Auburn

AIR FORCE put together a season-high 193.025 against No. 10 Auburn, which included season-bests on vault (48.300) and floor (49.000). The team floor total was just three-tenths shy of the decade-old Academy record. Katie Hawthorne tied her career-high on floor (9.825), good for fourth-place. Linnaea Hance turned in the same placement on beam (9.725), and had four season-highs on the night, including a 39.025 all-around.
SAN JOSE STATE Bekah Gher collected three titles this past Friday, as the Spartans got past UC Davis at home, 194.950-194.200. She hit a winning 9.85 on vault and beam, along with a season-high on floor (9.75), en route to the all-around title (39.150). Cami Guyer shared the top spot on bars (9.75), while Julia Greer placed second on floor (9.85). Casandra Harrison turned in a pair of bronze results, on bars (9.725) and all-around (38.950).
UC DAVIS Stephanie Stamates won another floor title (9.875) and Dani Judal shared first-place on bars (9.75). as the Aggies totaled 194.225 at San Jose State. UC Davis collectively went an identical 48.800 on vault, beam, and floor. Stamates, Judal, and Anna Shumaker finished in a three-way tie for second on beam (9.825), en route to the school's fourth-best beam total. Katy Nogaki was second on vault (9.825), while Shumaker followed in third (9.80) and ultimately took second all-around (38.975).
SEATTLE PACIFIC Maria Hundley won uneven bars (9.775) and Kai Tindall shared the floor title (9.75), as the Falcons compiled 192.450 at home last Friday against Sacramento State. Lauren Glover managed a bronze routine on the beam (9.675), to lead the team's first 48 of the year in that event. Cara Lord tied her career-high on vault (9.65), leading SPU to its third straight 48.
SACRAMENTO STATE recorded 192.675 last Friday at Seattle Pacific, as Kaliah McCartney was the meet's lone all-arounder (38.100), highlighted by a winning vault (9.875). Kailey Hansen posted a top beam routine (9.80), along with third-place results on vault (9.75) and floor (9.725). Jesse Williams turned in a pair of silver finishes with identical 9.775 scores on vault and beam, while adding a bronze finish on bars (9.70). Katie Osaki tied for the floor title (9.75).
ALASKA-ANCHORAGE Simone Penker recorded a pair of second-place routines last Friday at Illinois State, hitting a 9.65 on vault and 9.70 on beam. Sunday at SE Missouri, the Seawolves earned season-highs on bars (47.550) and floor (48.175) en route to an overall season-high 190.325. Morgan Cook had the top UAA placement, taking fourth on beam (9.60).
