UC DAVIS continues to re-write the record books. The Aggies went for a collective 195.175 last Friday at Seattle Pacific, a program record-setting score for the road. The beam squad accumulated 49.175, an all-time MPSF-High, beating the previous high set by Air Force in 2004 (49.150). The event total marked the third time this year the Aggies have broken a school record. Dani Judal and Anna Shumaker led the beam squad with winning routines of 9.875. Shumaker also won uneven bars (9.85) on her way to a near career-best all-around (39.200). Stephanie Stamates shared second-place on floor (9.80).
SEATTLE PACIFIC accumulated an all-time program-high of 193.950 on senior night last Friday against UC Davis. The Falcons beat their high score from last year's USA Gymnastics meet (193.900). Maria Hundley vaulted to a meet-best 9.875, while Kenley Memmel offered the top floor routine (9.825). Hundley added SPU season-highs on bars (9.825/career-high, 2nd-place) and beam (9.85, 3rd-place). Lauren Glover posted a career-high on beam (9.825). Kristi Hayashida tied for second on floor (9.80).
AIR FORCE posted a season-high 193.625, as Linnaea Hance had a 9.825 beam to tie for second and career-high 9.85 bars to tie for third, en route to a 38.875 all-around at Lindenwood. The Falcons finished ahead of the hosts and second to Missouri.
SAN JOSE STATE surpassed 195 for the third time this year, the first time the feat has ever been done in Spartan history. San Jose State scored 195.550 at No. 16 Boise State, a score which ranks sixth all-time in MPSF history. Bekah Gher placed second all-around (39.200) and on vault (9.825). Julia Greer posted her third beam title of the year (9.85).
SACRAMENTO STATE Kailey Hansen scored at least a 9.80 in all three of her events at home last Saturday against No. 21 California and No. 24 Washington. She had a 9.80 vault which tied for fourth, and delivered a 9.825 on beam and floor. Kalliah McCartney shared a three-way vault title (9.85). The Hornets scored 193.425.
ALASKA-ANCHORAGE was off last week, and hosts Lindenwood Friday and Sunday. Stefany Bryan posted a career all-around (38.475) as the Seawolved totaled 190.225 in a home dual with UC Davis (Feb. 16). Bryan set a career-high and UAA season-high on bars (9.75). Freshman Julia York recorded a second-place vault on a career-high (9.675).
