# 14 STANFORD (5-1 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) began its week with a 19-5 MPSF road win at Fresno State, before heading east in knocking off No. 11 Towson, 8-7, and No. 14 Georgetown, 11-10, both in overtime. Hannah Farr accumulated four goals, one assist, 10 ground balls, eight draw controls, and caused 2 turnovers through the week, including the OT winner at Towson. Lyndsey Munoz collected 17 saves of the 34 shots on goal she faced on the east coast. Alex Poplawski tallied a hat trick in Fresno and forced OT with a late game-tying goal in Towson. The Cardinal, entering final exams break, jumped five spots in the week's IWLCA Coaches' Poll to a share of No. 14 nationally.

UC DAVIS (3-0 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) came from behind to edge California, 8-7, this past Saturday in its MPSF and home opener. The Aggies' were down 6-2 with 18 minutes left in the game, and proceeded for a 5-0 run in the next 11 minutes. UCD's 3-0 start is its best since 2000, four years prior to the start of MPSF Lacrosse. The outcome also marked the first win over Cal since 2010, and the second in the last 12 years. Elizabeth Landry scored four goals and had three draws, including a second-half hat trick in the midst of the 5-0 run. Mary Doyle had the game-winner with 17 seconds left. Kai Murphy had a .533 save percentage.

DENVER (4-1 Overall, 2-0 MPSF) picked up two home wins last week, 10-8 over Vanderbilt and 12-9 over Temple. Meredith Harris scored four goals in each game, while Jill Remenapp dished six assists against the Commodores. Remenapp also had six points against the Owls on two goals and four assists vs. the Owls, and Hannah Hook collected 14 saves in that win.

COLORADO (4-2 Overall, 1-1 MPSF) picked up its first-ever MPSF victory this past Saturday, 12-6 at Fresno State, following a 12-6 decision over Temple. Cali Castagnola combined for nine goals, five vs. Temple, along with an assist. Paige Soenksen picked up 18 saves of the 32 shots she faced in that win, while recording a 12-save game vs. the Bulldogs. Marie Moore recorded a hat trick in each win, and dished two assists against Temple, along with five groundballs and three draws vs. FSU.

USC (1-2 Overall, 0-0 MPSF) came within three of seventh-ranked Boston College last Thursday, and then broke through for its first win of the season with a 22-4 Sunday rout of LIU-Brooklyn. The Trojans out-shot the Blackbirds, 40-10, and did not allow a second-half goal. Caroline Cordrey was four-for-four shooting, while Alex Moore added a hat trick. Moore had four and Cordrey three vs. BC earlier in the week. USC hosts UC Davis Friday in the Trojans' MPSF opener.

SAN DIEGO STATE (4-1 Overall, 2-0 MPSF) hosts LIU-Brooklyn Wednesday and UC Davis Saturday in returning to conference action. Christina Ricciardulli scored a team-high four goals with three groundballs and three draw controls in the first loss of the season to No. 7 Boston College.

CALIFORNIA (1-2 Overall, 1-2 MPSF) plays host to its first non-conference game Wednesday (Mar. 12), taking on Siena. Goalkeeper Helen Hansen recorded five saves at UC Davis. Paige Gasparino netted two goals to lead six Bear scorers, and Lizz Lavie had two assists.

FRESNO STATE (1-5 Overall, 0-3 MPSF) Kara Concheck scored a hat trick against both Colorado and Stanford last week. She was three-for-four in the Stanford game. The Bulldogs travel to Eugene, OR this week to face the Ducks in a conference game Saturday (Mar. 15), and Connecticut on a neutral field Sunday (Mar. 16). Caroline Dineen-Carlson had a career-high four draws in the Colorado game.

ST. MARY'S (0-3 Overall, 0-2 MPSF) did not compete last week, and hosts Robert Morris Friday (Mar. 14). Allie DeBruhl scored a game-high four goals, while Megan Zummo had two assists, a 2014 MPSF-High five caused turnovers, and six draw controls against San Diego State on March 2.

OREGON (2-2 Overall, 0-0 MPSF) was off last week, returning to the field at home this weekend against Connecticut and Fresno State. Shannon Propst had four goals, including one in overtime, along with three assists at Robert Morris on March 2. Nikki Puszcz had three goals and Caroline Federighi collected 11 saves. Propst scored a hat trick at Temple on March 1, while Courtney Valdez led with four goals.
