No. 1 OKLAHOMA chalked up its 15th-straight Rocky Mountain Open title with a score of 441.550, ahead of host Air Force, Nebraska, and club team Arizona State (Jan. 17). The Sooners won every team and individual event title, with their high score coming on still rings (75.450), led by senior Mike Squires' incredible 2015 NCAA all-event high of 16.300. That mark matched his own school record, and ranks second all-time in MPSF still rings history. Allan Bower was a double-event winner on vault (15.150) and parallel bars (14.950), while Jacoby Rubin (high bar, 15.050), Michael Reid (pommel horse, 15.350), and Colin Van Wicklen (floor, 15.150) also came out on top.

No. 2/3 STANFORD defeated California for the second straight week to start the season, a meet also featuring the Washington club team. The Cardinal accumulated 435.500, to the Bears' 427.900 and Huskies' 386.700. Akash Modi recorded individual event victories in five events, taking the all-around (89.300), parallel bars (15.800), rings (15.050), high bar (14.950) and pommel horse (14.550). Sean Senters delivered a 15.300 vault to claim the individual victory for the second consecutive week. Senters tied for second on floor (14.950) and placed third on horse (13.950).

No. 6 CALIFORNIA placed second at the Stanford Open (Jan. 17), scoring 427.900. Junior Kyle Zemeir placed second in the all-around with a career-best 87.450, after huge performances on vault (15.050), floor (14.900) and high bar (14.750). Kevin Wolting finished third with a total of 86.600 after career-best routines on floor (1st-place, 15.450) and vault (15.200). Takahiro Kawada posted 14.200 on horse, which placed him second.

No. 5/8 AIR FORCE hosted the annual Rocky Mountain Open to begin the season (Jan. 17), scoring its highest-ever season-opening total of 427.100, and managing to place ahead of Nebraska for just the fourth time in 33 meetings. Nick Guadlip recorded a score of 14.850 to finish third on high bar, the third-highest total on that event in the history of the Rocky Mountain Open. He also recorded that score in a third-place finish on the floor, and had a third top-10 result on parallel bars (14.250).
