No. 1 OU Completes Unbeaten Regular Season

No. 1 OKLAHOMA wrapped up an unbeaten regular season for the first time since 2011, cruising past No. 8 Ohio State (Mar. 14), 449.700-425.700 to move to 13-0 on the year. The Sooners' senior class never lost a home meet in their four years. Oklahoma also became the only team in the nation to record 440-plus in every regular season meet during 2015. Michael Squires turned in the highest score of the meet, posting a 16.050 to win still rings. He went unbeaten in the event this year with six scores of at least 16. Allan Bower claimed titles on vault (15.450) and parallel bars (15.200). The vault score matches his career-best. Bower also posted a 15.050 on the pommel horse. Alec Robin won floor (15.700) and Jacoby Rubin high bar (15.500). Michael Reid claimed his fifth pommel horse title of the year (15.600).
No. 8 CALIFORNIA closed out the 2015 regular season on Friday (Mar. 13) with a win over No. 20 Washington. The Bears totaled 430.750 and were led by all-arounder Kevin Wolting, who claimed the all-around title with a total score of 88.900, the second-highest score in his career. He captured the individual title on floor with a 15.600, and was impressive on high bar (15.100) and pommel horse (career-high 14.950). Ryan Patterson went all-around for the first time in 2015, compiling an 86.000 for second-place. Kyle Zemeir hit a 14.800 on still rings, good for the event title. Taka Kawada had a season-best 15.100 to claim the pommel horse crown.
No. 10 AIR FORCE Josh Ramos collected a pair of first-place finishes to lead the 10th-ranked Falcons to a 425.650-408.250 win at No. 16 Arizona State (Mar. 13). He matched his career-high of 15.100 to take first on the parallel bars, and won the floor with a score of 14.900. His parallel bars score was third-best for the program. Air Force tallied its seventh-best high bar total in Academy history (71.200), led by Chase Cannon's No. 2 all-time Falcon score (15.100). Arinn Wade and Denis Aurelius were also event winners, taking pommel horse (15.150) and still rings (15.150), respectively. Air Force hosts the USAG Championships this weekend (Mar. 20-21), followed by the MPSGF Championships (Mar. 28).
No. 2/3 STANFORD ended its regular season Mar. 6-8, as it took down No. 2 Illinois on the road (Mar. 6), 440.300-420.400. The Cardinal registered season-bests on floor (75.200) and vault (74.900). Akash Modi claimed all three of Stanford's individual event victories, placing first on floor (15.550), pommel horse (15.250) and parallel bars (15.500). Modi has earned 17 individual event victories against NCAA teams this season: all-around (4), parallel bars (4), floor (3), pommel horse (3), rings (2), and high bar (1). Stanford tallied a 425.800 to place ahead of Illinois-Chicago (408.250) and Arizona State (397.300) in the regular season finale (Mar. 8). Michael Levy led the Cardinal with individual event wins on floor (14.950) and rings (14.950). Brandon Beckhardt earned the individual victory on rings with a 14.200. Ryan Sheppard went 15.150 on high bar to place first, while Robert Neff tallied a 87.300 in the all-around to earn his first collegiate win in the event.
