NO. 11 STANFORD (3-0 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) on the heels of an impressive 12-10 home win over then No. 12 Notre Dame (Feb. 20), the Cardinal stayed unbeaten with a 12-10 road win at No. 10 Ohio State (Feb. 28). Kelsey Murray had her second five-goal outing this year, the first Stanford player since 2010 to have multiple five-goal games in a season. Lucy Dikeou scored twice and had three draw controls. Stanford held the nation's leading scorer, Ohio State's Katie Chase, to one goal. Goalkeeper Allie DaCar made a career-high nine saves.

SAN DIEGO STATE (1-2 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) won its MPSF opener at Oregon, 8-7 in overtime (Feb. 28). Sophie Koubek recorded three goals along with three draw controls. All three of Koubek's goals came in the second half to help SDSU erase a 4-1 halftime deficit, including her final score which pulled the Aztecs within one, 7-6, with 8:48 remaining in regulation. Katrina Reeves totaled 12 saves in the crease, two of which were especially pivotal. She stopped a shot with one second left in the first OT, as well as with 12 seconds left on a free-position in the second OT to seal the victory. Reeves added four ground balls.

NO. RV USC (2-2 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) Michaela Michael set a new MPSF record for single-game draw controls, collecting 15 in the 17-6 home win over Fresno State (Feb. 24). She broke her teammate Amanda Johansen's conference record of 13, set two years ago. Michael also delivered a hat trick and one assist. Johansen and Caroline de Lyra tallied six points apiece, with the former scoring five goals in the first-half and the latter dishing three assists. Courtney Tarleton caused three turnovers and had three ground balls.

CALIFORNIA (1-1 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) earned its first win in the Brooke Eubanks era, 18-10 at home over St. Mary's (Feb. 25). Lizz Lavie dished five assists (tied for second in school history), and scored twice for seven points. Bella Huther and Sasha Anielski each delivered four goals. Caroline Schlegel tallied three caused turnovers and five draw controls, and Chloe Landry came off the bench to record seven draw controls.

OREGON (3-1 Overall, 1-1 MPSF) Holly Johnson came off the bench to score four goals, including a first half natural hat trick, as the Ducks posted their first MPSF win in a 21-3 home outcome over St. Mary's. Cambi Cukar dished six assists, while the Ducks tied their all-time single-game assists record from April 12, 2007 with 16. Oregon's 37 points (21 G/16 A) in the contest also tied a program record set on March 3, 2006. Janelle Parker recorded a .500 save percentage for the week, allowing nine goals and making nine saves through 96 minutes.

COLORADO (2-1 Overall, 0-1 MPSF) blanked Presbyterian at home Monday (Mar. 2), 19-0. It is the first shutout posted by an MPSF team since 2010. Johnna Fusco recorded a first half hat trick, on her way to a four-goal game. Cali Castagnola and Darby Kiernan also tallied first half hat tricks as did Taylor Oliver in the second-half. Marie Moore controlled seven draws and picked up three ground balls. The Buffs allowed only five shots in the game. Colorado travels to No. 7 Northwestern Saturday (Mar. 7).

FRESNO STATE (1-3 Overall, 0-2 MPSF) Anjelica Fuccillo broke the all-time Bulldog single-game points record with nine, and tied the goals record with seven, in a 20-6 win at Gardner Webb (Feb. 27). The 20 goals was also a program-best, breaking the 18 set on April 20, 2012. Fuccillo recorded a hat trick less than 10 minutes into the contest. Marcy Levatino, Kyleigh Westgarth, and Caroline Dineen-Carlson each added three goals.

UC DAVIS (1-2 Overall, 0-0 MPSF) defeated Detroit at home Monday (Mar. 2), 13-10, for its first win. Elizabeth Landry moved into third all-time in the MPSF in career draw controls. Her total of 181 leaves her 45 away from the record held by Rachel Minarovich (SMC, 2011-14). Landry had four goals, seven draws, and three ground balls against Detroit. Melissa Kellan was four-for-four on shots, and Courtney Neff led the Aggies with five goals.

NO. RV DENVER (2-2 Overall, 1-0 MPSF) had its 12-game home win streak snapped by No. 13 Louisville, 14-9 (Feb. 28). Jill Remenapp had four goals and two assists, to move into third all-time in the MPSF with 259 career points. Already the all-time assist leader in the conference, she is 62 points from Katie McMahon's (UCD, 2004-08) record point total of 321. Ali Proehl caused four turnovers and picked up a 2015 MPSF single-game high seven ground balls against Louisville.

ST. MARY'S (0-2 Overall, 0-2 MPSF) Jaclyn Biggers collected four goals and five draws at California to begin the season (Feb. 25). The Gaels host Detroit (Mar. 4) and Michigan (Mar. 6) in their home openers this week.
