2015 MPSF Player of the Year MICHAELA MICHAEL - #2 - SOPHOMORE - ATTACKER - USC

USC sophomore attacker Michaela Michael (Hillsborough, CA/Menlo School) leads the MPSF in draw controls (97---6.06/gm), goals (46--2.88/gm), and game-winning goals (4), and ranks second in points (57---3.56/gm). Entering the postseason, she is three draws away from teammate Amanda Johansen's single season MPSF record of 100, set in 2013. On Feb. 24, Michael set an all-time MPSF single-game record 15 draw controls. She has scored at least one goal in 15 straight games (three or more in 10 games) entering the conference tournament, and recorded at least one point in all 16 regular season games. She was the MPSF Offensive Player of the Week on April 13, following career-highs of six goals and four ground balls vs. Colorado, along with a hat trick vs. Denver. Michael is USC's first MPSF Player of the Year in the team's three-year history.

2015 MPSF Rookie of the Year NICOLE MARTINDALE - #77 - R-FRESHMAN - ATTACKER - DENVER

Denver redshirt freshman attacker Nicole Martindale (Brooklin, Ontario/Wilson HS) is one of just three freshmen to earn an All-MPSF award this year. She started in 14 regular season games, and won a conference-high four rookie of the week awards. She finished the regular season sixth in the MPSF in goals per game (2.36) and 10th in points per game (2.86). Martindale scored two game-winning goals, both in conference action, and delivered a pair of five-goal performance in conference games against Oregon (Apr. 24) and at San Diego State (Apr. 10). She added 20 draws and 10 ground balls in her first season. Martindale is Denver's all-time high seventh MPSF Rookie/Newcomer of the Year recipient (Jill Remenapp-2012, Kara Secora-2010, Ashley Harman-2009, Tully Stapp-2008, Ali Flury-2007, Karen Morton-2006).

2015 MPSF Coach of the Year LINDSEY MUNDAY - THIRD YEAR - USC

USC Head Coach Lindsey Munday earns her first MPSF Coach of the Year award, leading the program since its inaugural season of 2013. The Trojans had their most successful regular season, winning 12 games and taking a program-best second-place in the MPSF with eight wins. All four regular season losses were against ranked teams, including two against the top-five by a combined five goals. USC put together a school record seven-game win streak (Feb. 22-Mar. 28). The team had the second-most goals in the MPSF (211), while allowing the fewest (122), and caused the most turnovers per game (8.94). Individually, USC is at the top of the conference in several categories. Gussie Johns is the MPSF's goals-against average leader (7.58), Caroline de Lyra the points leader (60), and MPSF Player of the Year Michael Michael is No. 1 in goals (46), game-winning goals (4), and draw controls (97).
