OREGON (1-0 MPSF/5-2 Overall) won two home games last week, 15-9 over George Mason and in conference action, 15-10 over Fresno State. Carly O'Connell accumulated seven goals, one assist, six ground balls and four draw controls over three contests, including the High Point game last Monday (Mar. 7). Her four goals against Fresno State made her the eighth Duck all-time to reach 100 in a career. Shannon Williams collected an eight-point week on five goals and three assists, while picking up four ground balls and causing four turnovers.

UC DAVIS (1-0 MPSF/3-2 Overall) began its month-long homestand with two wins last week. Courtney Neff completed a hat trick with an overtime game-winner to give the Aggies a 10-9 result over Vermont (Mar. 8). Melissa Kellan dished a career-high four assists. In a 19-7 MPSF-opening victory over St. Mary's (Mar. 13), Neff tallied three assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Tess Kevorkian had three ground balls and four caused turnovers through the week, while Taylor Cuenin put away four of her five goals in the conference win.

FRESNO STATE (0-3 MPSF/3-5 Overall) defeated Furman 7-4 last Monday (Mar. 7), and thus was off to its best start in school history with three wins in its first six games. The Bulldogs locked down defensively, allowing a program-best four goals. Nicole Ortlieb and Sarah Bloise put away two goals apiece. Caroline Dineen-Carlson became the Bulldogs' all-time draw control leader at Oregon after recording six on the day, while Ortlieb tallied a hat trick and Meganne Weissenfels had 11 saves and seven ground balls.

CALIFORNIA (0-0 MPSF/2-3 Overall) Chloe Landry tallied four goals and six draw controls in the Bears' first win of the year, 13-11 over Longwood (Mar. 8). Cal rallied from an 8-5 halftime deficit. Meredith Haggerty added a hat trick with five draws, and Sara Nolte helped the defense with a pair of ground balls and a caused turnover. Cal earned a second win, 18-13 at home over Vermont (Mar. 11), as Landry put away a second half hat trick, finishing the week with seven goals, 11 draws, four caused turnovers and three ground balls. Goalkeeper Jenny Wilkens notched 16 saves, five ground balls and two caused turnovers in 120 minutes of work through the two wins.

No. 12 USC (0-0 MPSF/5-0 Overall) defeated No. 11 Stony Brook at home Monday (Mar. 14), 14-10. Michaela Michael and Kylie Drexel put away four goals each, while Amanda Johansen added a hat trick. Michael and Johansen each tallied three assists. Courtney Tarleton caused three turnovers and Gussie Johns picked up nine saves. The Trojans play their MPSF openers this week at California (Mar. 18) and St. Mary's (Mar. 20).

DENVER (1-1 MPSF/3-4 Overall) earned a 10-6 home win over Fairfield (Mar. 13). Christa Reese recorded a five-goal week, a hat trick in the win and two goals against Vanderbilt (Mar. 9). Ellie Knott collected a career-high four draws vs. Fairfield, while Elizabeth Behrins delivered back-to-back goals late to help seal the game. The Pioneers travel to Los Angeles this weekend for a neutral site contest against Dartmouth Sunday (Mar. 20).

SAN DIEGO STATE (0-0 MPSF/1-4 Overall) Felice Artuso tied a 2016 MPSF-best with a career-high five caused turnovers in the home game vs. Furman (Mar. 10), second-most in single-game Aztec history. Sarah Dorl came off the bench to score a hat trick, including two late goals to spark a comeback, in which Furman withstood.

ST. MARY'S (0-2 MPSF/0-5 Overall) Hanna Dalrymple tallied an eight-point week, which included two scores across games against Longwood, LIU-Brooklyn, and UC Davis. Molly Kuptz caused three turnovers against Longwood. The Gaels bring in a pair of MPSF teams this week, San Diego State (Mar. 18) and USC (Mar. 20).

No. 14 STANFORD (1-0 MPSF/4-1 Overall) won its fourth-straight with a 17-10 home outcome over Vanderbilt (Mar. 6). Kelly Myers recorded four goals on seven shots, while winning four draw controls and causing two turnovers. Meg Lentz kept the Commodores' leading scorer from notching a goal, while winning four draw controls and collecting two ground balls. The Cardinal is back in action Sunday (Mar. 20) at home against No. 8 Penn State.

COLORADO (2-0 MPSF/5-1 Overall) Cali Castagnola led two wins over James Madison (Mar. 3) and Central Connecticut (Mar. 5) by scoring five goals and dishing three assists. She scored the game-winner in overtime and had four goals and two assists to tie a career-high six points in a 15-14 win over JMU. She added a goal and an assist in a 15-3 win over CCSU. Marie Moore totaled seven draw controls, six caused turnovers and three ground balls. She had four draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball against JMU, before tallying four caused turnovers, three draw controls, two ground balls and a goal vs. CCSU. The Buffs are at home Mar. 21 vs. Marist.
