Air Force sophomore Garrett Braunton (Olympia, WA) won the all-around title at the USAG Collegiate Nationals (Mar. 25) – the victory securing him a place in the U.S. Championships this summer. Braunton tallied a career-best 81.450 in the win. He added personal-best scores on the floor exercise (14.200), pommel horse (13.600) and vault (14.450) during the meet. The vault score is the seventh-best mark in Air Force history, while his floor score is eighth all-time and his all-around total is 10th. Braunton finished the weekend with three USAG All-America accolades, as he finished third on the still rings and seventh on the pommel horse during the individual event finals (Mar. 26). This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Braunton, and the first for any Air Force Gymnast in three years (Lukas Texeira-3/5/19)…
