MPSF/MOLTEN OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

USC freshman outside hitter Dillon Klein (Pacific Palisades, CA) averaged 5.38 points per set to lead the Trojan offense to a pair of wins over CUI (Apr. 13-15). Klein had 34 kills and hit .431 through the two outings (4.25 K/S). He also served a career-high three aces in the first win on the road, and then two more to finish the regular season with a five-ace week. This is the first career MPSF award for Klein.

MERRICK MCHENRY OF UCLA
MPSF/MOLTEN DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

UCLA redshirt-junior middle blocker Merrick McHenry (Bedford, TX) helped lead a pair of wins over No. 9 Pepperdine (Apr. 13-15), averaging 2.38 blocks per set (19 total, 3 solo) and 1.00 digs per set. He tied his career-high with six digs and added a team-best seven blocks in the first win on the road. In match two, McHenry was credited with a career-high 11 block assists, most by a Bruin this season. His efforts at the net led a 34.0 to 15.0 team edge in total blocks over the two matches. The Bruins’ 18.5 blocks in match two was a season-high team effort. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for McHenry.
