MPSF & Overnght Agree to Invitational Naming Rights
The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) has locked in a three-year naming rights agreement with Overnght Media to re-name the “MPSF Invitational” to the “Overnght MPSF Invitational.” Last week, the MPSF announced that Overnght will be the video stream partner for the conference beginning in the fall of 2023.
The Overnght MPSF Invitational is an annual in-season collegiate men’s water polo weekend tournament. This year’s event will be held September 22-24 in Los Angeles, Calif., co-hosted by USC at Uytengsu Aquatics Center and UCLA at Spieker Aquatics Center. All four of the MPSF’s Western Division teams - California, Stanford, UCLA and USC - will be joined by several top NCAA Division-I programs to compete in the three-day tournament. Each team will play four games through the weekend, culminating with Sunday’s placement games. The tournament bracket and schedule will be revealed on September 12. Fans can access live video stream coverage through pay-per-view and subscription options found on
overnght.com.
“The Overnght MPSF Invitational will bring together the best that men’s water polo has to offer for an exciting weekend of competition,” said Overnght CEO Kevin McReynolds. “We’re proud to support elite collegiate student-athletes and develop our partnership with the MPSF through this naming agreement.”
“I would like to thank Kevin McReynolds and Overnght for their continued support of the MPSF,” said MPSF Executive Director Foti Mellis. “This naming rights agreement is a first of its kind for the conference and I am confident, with the continued success of the MPSF, it will not be the last.”
