LUCA PETOVARY OF ARIZONA STATE
MPSF/DELFINA PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Arizona State senior Luca Petovary (Szentendre, Hungary) accumulated 22 goals as the Sun Devils defeated Azusa Pacific, Mount St. Mary’s, Biola, and Concordia, each played in Claremont (Mar. 1-2). Petovary broke the program record for goals in a season, surpassing Alicia Brightwell's mark in 2013 (84), also becoming the sixth MPSF player all-time to reach 100. She tallied 10 goals on a perfect 10-for-10 on shots, breaking the Sun Devil and MPSF single-game scoring record vs. Mt. St. Mary’s. Petovary is 20 goals from the MPSF’s all-time single-season scoring record. This is the sixth career MPSF weekly award for Petovary, including three in the last five weeks.
