University of Pacific senior Paige Sondgeroth (Las Vegas, NV) again won three events in a dual win over Cal Poly (Jan. 17). She took first-place in the 200 breast (2:17.82, career-best), 100 breast (1:03.85, season-best), and 200 IM (2:06.61, season-best). She then led-off with a season-best 24.16 in the 50 free of the 200 free relay vs. UCSB (Jan. 18). This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Sondgeroth, repeating the honor from last week.

University of Pacific senior Mitchell Hopper (Happy Valley, OR) tallied three first-place swims against Cal Poly (Jan. 17) and two second-place swims against UCSB (Jan. 18). He won the 200 free (1:37.49), 100 free (44.24), and 100 fly (48.45) against the Mustangs, and was runner-up in the 100 free (44.33) and 200 free (1:36.81-season-best) vs. the Gauchos. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Hopper.
