MPSF to Hold First Women's Water Polo Media Day
The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) will host its inaugural women’s water polo media day on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Stanford University’s Arrillaga Family Sports Center.
The MPSF’s head coaches along with one student-athlete from each program, will be available in-person or via zoom for interviews and questions. Specific media day details, such as the schedule and format, will be announced in early November.
Media Day can be viewed free of charge in its entirety through MPSF Water Polo live stream partner Overnght (

The 2026 MPSF Women’s Water Polo season will feature seven teams—Arizona State, California, Indiana, San Jose State, Stanford, UCLA, and USC. The conference championship will be held at California’s Spieker Aquatics Complex (April 10-12) with the champion receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship (April 24-26 at UC San Diego).
Since its inaugural year of 1996, the MPSF has won all 29 women’s water polo national championships, including all 24 since becoming an NCAA sport in 2001. The conference enters the 2025-26 season with 121 total national championships, including four last year, with its 113 NCAA titles leading the nation among Non-Power Four conferences.
