The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) will host its inaugural women’s water polo media day on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Stanford University’s Arrillaga Family Sports Center.
Media Day can be viewed free of charge in its entirety through the MPSF Water Polo live stream partner Overnght (
www.overnght.com), and will be moderated by Kevin Danna, who has served as a play-by-play announcer for numerous MPSF Water Polo telecasts.
The format for media day will include individual interviews from six MPSF Head Coaches, one associate head coach, and one student-athlete per team, who will be in attendance for interviews and questions, beginning at 1:00 pm PT. A complete schedule for the event is detailed below, which includes the availability of the student-athletes.
The 2026 MPSF Women’s Water Polo season will feature seven teams—Arizona State, California, Indiana, San Jose State, Stanford, UCLA, and USC. The conference championship will be held at California’s Spieker Aquatics Complex (April 10-12) with the champion receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship (April 24-26 at UC San Diego).
Since its inaugural year of 1996, the MPSF has won all 29 women’s water polo national championships, including all 24 since becoming an NCAA-sponsored sport in 2001. The conference entered the 2025-26 season with 121 total national championships, including four last year, with its 113 NCAA titles leading the nation among Non-Power Four conferences.
