Stanford freshman and 2024 United States Olympic Silver Medalist
Megumi Field (Wilmington, DE) posted conference titles in her first MPSF Championship appearance in the Tech A (80.5989), duet (226.2729), trio (256.1092), and team (242.2663) routines, which equaled every competition she participated in, to help the Cardinal to a fourth-straight overall conference crown. Field accumulated 74 individual championship points, the most all-time by any student-athlete in the four-year history of the MPSF Artistic Swimming Championship. Stanford has won all four major MPSF Artistic Swimmer awards (Megumi Field-2025, Yara Elian-2024, Lindi Schroeder-2023, Nicole Goot-2022) as well as three of the four annual freshman awards (Field-’25, Elian-’23, Goot-’22).
2025 MPSF Coach of the Meet
MEGAN ABARCA · SEVENTH YEAR · STANFORD
Stanford seventh-year head coach
Megan Abarca led the Cardinal to a fourth-straight MPSF Championship, guiding conference titles in the team, duet, trio, and technical ‘A’ events, in addition to second-place finishes in the solo, duet, and trio, and Tech ‘A,’ and a third-place result in the team event. The Cardinal accumulated 102 points en route to the team championship, 15 points ahead of second-place, both of which match Stanford’s MPSF record-setting point total and margin of victory from the inaugural 2022 conference season. Stanford placed an MPSF-high of three artistic swimmers on the All-MPSF first team this year. Abarca, an assistant coach for the 2024 United States Olympic Silver Medalist team, has earned the annual MPSF’s coach award in all four years of MPSF Artistic Swimming.
