Oklahoma senior
Brigham Frentheway (Cheyenne, WY) scored a season-high 14.000 to place third on floor exercise and registered a career-high 13.850 on still rings to help lead the Sooners to a 327.700 total and wins over No. 6 Michigan and No. 14 Simpson (Feb. 15). His rings score carried a 9.45 execution mark. Frentheway also scored 14.050 on vault and stuck his high bar dismount for a 13.550 to help the Sooners maintain their lead in the final rotation. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Frentheway, each this season.

FRANCISCO VELEZ BELENDEZ OF OKLAHOMA
MPSF FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Oklahoma freshman
Francisco Velez Belendez (San Juan, Puerto Rico) scored 14.000 to place third on still rings to help lead the Sooners to a 327.700 total and wins over No. 6 Michigan and No. 14 Simpson (Feb. 15). He also stepped into the vault leadoff spot when called upon and hit a 13.450 in his first collegiate vault. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Velez Belendez.

JACK MATLOCK OF AIR FORCE
MPSF SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
Air Force junior
Jack Matlock (Virginia Beach, VA) scored a career-high 14.175 to win the pommel horse at the All-Academy Championships in Fort Worth, TX (Feb. 15). He helped Air Force to a season-high 314.500 total and wins over No. 8 Navy and No. 9 Army, while the Falcons also out-scored their service academy counterparts by nearly three points on the pommel horse. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Matlock.
