STANFORD MPSF/MOLTEN PAIR OF THE WEEK
Stanford sophomore
Ruby Sorra (Scarborough, Ontario, Canada) and senior
Taylor Wilson (Santa Barbara, CA) recorded a 4-0 weekend without dropping a set on court two, posting four consecutive victories against top-11 opponents to help the Cardinal win three of four as a team in the Death Volley Invitational in Baton Rouge, LA (Mar. 28-29). They opened with a win over No. 8 Texas, followed by earning one of the two Cardinal points against No. 2 TCU, and then closed their tripleheader first day with a win over No. 7 Florida State. On day two, Sorra and Wilson defeated the two pair from No. 11 LSU, becoming the second winningest pair in Stanford history in the process. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Sorra and Wilson.
