Third Edition of MPSF Open Water Championships

The MPSF invites you to its third annual Collegiate Open Water Swimming Championship, which will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the historic Marine Stadium in Long Beach, California. All NCAA Division I, II, and III institutions are eligible to compete. During last year’s event, the MPSF welcomed 18 collegiate teams (11 women, 7 men), and over 100 student-athletes competed. Grand Canyon women and Cal Baptist men took home the team titles. Speedo, Gatorade, and Malmsten will once again sponsor this event. Malmsten will provide the buoys and course setup. Malmsten also provides the equipment and lane lines for the Olympics in Swimming and Water Polo.
In 2023, the MPSF became the first-ever NCAA Collegiate Conference to sponsor an open water championship, as the University of Utah swept the team titles.
