The inaugural MPSF Beach Volleyball All-Tournament team has been announced, following No. 2 seed Stanford winning the first-ever conference championship tournament, contested at Spiker Beach in Huntington Beach, Calif, (Apr. 23-25). For the Cardinal, it was the 4-0 undefeated No. 3 pair of Kelly Belardi and Charlotta Bell who clinched the historical team title with a come-from-behind three-set win en route to Most Valuable Pair and all-tournament honors. Joining that duo on the all-tourney list was the Stanford two pair of Avery Jackson and Brooke Rockwell, which was also unbeaten at 3-0 over the three days.

MPSF runner-up USC also placed two pairs on the all-tournament team with the No. 2 duo of Kennedy Coakley and Ashley Pater recording a 3-1 record, along with Delaney Karl and Ella Larkin going 4-1 on court four.

Each of the MPSF Semifinalists, UCLA and California, placed its top pair on the all-tournament team. For the Bruins, it was the 3-0 duo of Maggie Boyd and Sally Perez. Representing the Golden Bears was Emma Donley and Portia Sherman, who tied the program record for most single-season pair wins (27) following their final tournament match.

While the conference title gave Stanford the MPSF’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament (May 2-4 at Gulf Shores, AL), USC, UCLA, and California received at-large bids in the 16-team national championship field.
