The 2025 MPSF Women’s Water Polo All-Tournament team has been announced, following No. 3 seed Stanford winning its eighth all-time conference championship tournament, contested at UCLA’s Spieker Aquatics Center (Apr. 25-27). Stanford sophomore goalkeeper Christine Carpenter earned the MVP award, backed by a career-high-tying 13-save effort in the title game win over top-seed UCLA. She finished with a tournament-best .644 save percentage across the three wins. MPSF Player of the Year Ryann Neushul joined Carpenter on the all-tournament team as the weekend’s No. 2 scorer with nine goals, while dishing out five assists, and drawing seven exclusions. Neushul scored the go-ahead overtime goal in the title game to complete a hat trick. Jewel Roemer, who provided the insurance goal in the championship game and tallied a weekend-high eight assists, was the third Cardinal selected.

MPSF runner-up UCLA placed junior Anna Pearson on the all-tournament team, who earned a weekend-high 13 exclusions through two games.

Third-place California was represented by sophomores Julia Bonaguidi and Feline Voordouw. Bonaguidi accumulated seven goals and Voordouw scored three of her six tournament goals in the third-place win.

USC placed redshirt senior Tilly Kearns and freshman MPSF Newcomer of the Year Emily Ausmus on the all-tournament team. Ausmus led all players with 13 goals and nine steals, and extended her scoring streak to all 31 of her collegiate games. Her 109 goals on the year ranks third in MPSF single-season history.

Arizona State, which won the fifth-place game, placed Millie Quin in the all-tourney field. She scored in each game as the Sun Devils won two of three on the weekend.

While the conference title gave Stanford the MPSF’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament (May 9-11 at IU Natatorium, Indianapolis, IN), USC, UCLA, and California received at-large bids in the eight-team national championship field.
