No. 2 Cal Wins MPSF's Inaugural Rowing Title

2025 MPSF MEN'S ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS
(Inaugural Edition)
 
Lake Natoma; Gold River, Calif.

GOLD RIVER – No. 2 California won the MPSF's first-ever men's rowing conference championship (May 18), held at Lake Natoma in Gold River, CA, which was awarded by virtue of winning the grand final of the varsity eight race. No. 1 Washington finished second, followed by No. 7 Stanford in third and No. 19 Oregon State in fourth as part of the grand final.

Next up, the Huskies will join Cal and look to defend their national championship when they compete at the 2025 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship Regatta May 30-June 1 on Cooper River in New Jersey. Stanford's placing extended a streak of third-place finishes in a conference 1V8+ Grand Final to 11 consecutive seasons. Stanford also has 20 consecutive top-three conference finishes dating back to 2005.
