Ella Franken (Den Bosch, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands) shined in the Aggies’ 6-1 neutral site win over LIU (Sept. 22). She tallied two goals and added an assist to fuel the squad’s dominant performance, and in the process, took over the team lead in scoring this season. This is the first career MPSF Honor for Franken.

KRISTI MERASHOFF OF DELAWARE
MPSF DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Delaware graduate goalkeeper
Kristi Merashoff (Towson, MD), across three contests against No. 15 Saint Joseph’s, William & Mary, and Ohio State (Sept. 24-28), reeled in 19 saves. She had 10 stops against the Buckeyes, tying her own MPSF and career-high. She saved seven shots against St. Joe’s, including two penalty strokes, another career-high and the most by a Blue Hen in recorded history. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Merashoff.
