MPSF FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Idaho freshman Kelly Mejorada (Urbiquinta, Mexico) had a historic outing in her first meet as a Vandal at College of Idaho (Sept. 27), posting two wins and a school record in her collegiate debut. She scored a first-place 312.65 on the one-meter diving board, setting a school record. She additionally received the top mark in the three-meter dive with a total of 251.40. This is the first career MPSF honor for Mejorada.

NATE RASMUSSEN OF PACIFIC
MPSF MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK


University of the Pacific sophomore Nate Rasmussen (Stockton, CA) delivered a dominant performance against Fresno Pacific (Sept. 27), winning each of his individual events. He posted an impressive 1:39.17 in the 200 free and achieved a CSCAA ‘B’ Cut, as well as a 21.26 in the 50 free and a 45.99 lead-off in the 400 free relay. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Rasmussen.
