MPSF Beach Volleyball to Hold Inaugural Media Day
The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) will host its first-ever beach volleyball media day on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Costa Mesa Marriott in Costa Mesa, California.
The format for media day will include individual interviews from each of the 10 MPSF Head Coaches and at least one student-athlete per team, who will be available for interviews and questions beginning at 9:30 am PT. A complete schedule for the event is detailed below, which includes the availability of the student-athletes.
Media Day can be viewed in its entirety through MPSF Beach Volleyball live stream partner B1G+ (
https://www.bigtenplus.com/), and will be moderated by Rob Espero, who has handled play-by-play for numerous collegiate volleyball events and serves as the public address announcer for the MPSF Beach Volleyball Championship. Former AVCA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year and current B1G+ Color Commentator Sarah Pavan will interview student-athletes.
The second MPSF Beach Volleyball season in 2026 will feature 10 teams—California, Grand Canyon, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington, along with conference newcomers LSU, San José State, and Texas. The MPSF Championship tournament will again be held at Spiker Beach Volleyball Club in Huntington Beach, CA (April 22-24) with the champion receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship (Gulf Shores, AL; May 1-3).
Since its inaugural year of 1992-93, the MPSF has captured 114 NCAA titles, leading the nation among Non-Power Four conferences.
