Cole Hartke (Barrington, IL) tallied a match-high 17 kills on .364 hitting, to go with a pair of blocks, six digs, and an ace in a straight-set Waves’ win at No. 7 Loyola-Chicago (Jan. 23).
Hartke then had MPSF season-highs of 29 kills (.386) and 35 points, to go with seven blocks, 11 digs, and two aces in a reverse sweep at No. 9 Lewis (Jan. 24). He averaged 5.75 kills with a .378 hitting clip, 6.75 points, 2.13 digs, 1.13 blocks, and 0.38 aces per set across the two wins. His 35 points at Lewis were the most in the MPSF since 2023 (Jaylen Jasper-Pep; 3/24/23), while the 29 kills were the most since 2024.
